BSEB Bihar Board Inter toppers 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the Class 12 or Intermediate examination results 2026 today, March 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Along with the results, the board has also released the list of toppers for all three streams: Science, Commerce, and Arts.The announcement was made during an official press conference. The toppers’ names, marks, ranks, and other key details were shared by Bihar’s Education Minister Sunil Kumar in the presence of senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary Dr. B. Rajender.

How to check BSEB 12th result 2026

Students can follow these simple steps to check their results:
  1. Visit the official websites – interbiharboard.com or bsebexam.com, or check via the Times of India (TOI) result page here.
  2. Click on the link for “BSEB Intermediate Result 2026”.
  3. Enter your roll number and roll code.
  4. Click on submit to view your result.
  5. Download and save the marksheet for future use.
Students are advised to keep their admit cards ready while checking their scores.

BSEB Inter result 2026: This year’s performance

This year, the overall pass percentage for the Bihar Board Class 12 examination 2026 stands at 85.19%. Among the successful candidates, 5,16,928 students passed in the first division, 5,11,744 in the second division, and 82,425 in the third division.
Girls have outperformed boys across all streams. Out of 6,70,971 girls who appeared for the examination, 5,78,611 passed, recording a pass percentage of 86.23%. In comparison, 6,33,229 boys appeared, of whom 5,32,486 passed, giving a pass percentage of 84.09%.In the Arts stream, 84.53% of girls passed, compared to 79.78% of boys. In Commerce, girls recorded 94.31%, while boys achieved 92.45%. In the Science stream, 88.79% of girls passed, slightly higher than 86.56% of boys.The board also announced 26 toppers across all streams, including 19 girls and 7 boys.

Last year’s performance trends

In 2025, a total of 12,80,211 students appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12 examinations. The overall pass percentage stood at 86.56%.Here is a quick comparison with last year:

Commerce stream recorded the highest pass percentage, followed by Science and Arts.The comparison shows that while the overall percentage has seen a slight dip this year, the performance pattern across genders remains largely consistent.
