Bihar Board 10th Result 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the Matric Annual Examination 2026 results on March 29 at 1:15 PM through an official press conference. The announcement was made by Education Minister Sunil Kumar in the presence of Chairman Anand Kishor and Additional Chief Secretary Dr. B. Rajender. The declaration included key highlights such as toppers, pass percentage, and important post-result procedures for students.Two girls jointly secure top rankPushpanjali Kumari of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui and Parveen from Uch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Vaishali emerged as joint toppers. Both students scored 492 marks, securing 98.4 percent and claiming the top position in the state.Overall pass percentage at 81.79%This year, 81.79 percent of students successfully cleared the Bihar Board Class 10 examination. More than 1.5 million candidates had appeared for the exam, reflecting a large-scale participation across the state.Live Updates on BSEB Bihar Board 10th Result 2026 Examination and evaluation timelineThe Matriculation examination was conducted from February 17 to February 25. The evaluation process was completed between March 2 and March 13, enabling the Board to declare results within March and maintain its record of early announcements.

Students were assessed on subject knowledge, writing skills, and handwriting to ensure authenticity and fairness in the merit list.How to check the result onlineStudents can check their results on official websites such as biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and matricbiharboard.com. They need to enter their Roll Code and Roll Number to access the marksheet and are advised to download it for future use.Next step: Class 11 admissionsFollowing the result declaration, the admission process for Class 11 in government intermediate schools will begin in the first week of April. Applications will be submitted online through the OFSS platform provided by the Bihar Board. Students are encouraged to carefully select their preferred stream and institutions while applying to ensure a smooth transition to higher secondary education.
