CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Registration for 9,195 posts ends in two days; check direct link to apply
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will soon close the online registration process for Constable (Technical and Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive through the official CRPF recruitment portal before the last date, May 19, 2026.
Candidates can submit their application forms online through CRPF Recruitment Portal.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 9,195 vacancies for male and female candidates across various trades and technical posts.
The online registration process began on April 20, 2026.
According to the official notification, the vacancy distribution is as follows:
The recruitment includes posts such as Driver, Cook, Carpenter, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari and several other technical and tradesmen positions.

According to the official notification, the vacancy distribution is as follows:
- Male candidates: 9,096 posts
- Female candidates: 79 posts
- Pioneer wing (all-India basis): 20 posts
The recruitment includes posts such as Driver, Cook, Carpenter, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari and several other technical and tradesmen positions.
Eligibility criteria
Nationality
- Applicants must be citizens of India.
Age limit
- Driver post: 21 to 27 years
- Other posts: 18 to 23 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Educational qualification
- Candidates should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- For certain posts, candidates may also be required to possess Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificates, technical qualifications or relevant work experience as specified in the official notification.
Selection process
The selection process will include the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Trade or Skill Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
The final merit list will mainly be based on candidates’ performance in the Computer Based Test, subject to qualifying all other stages.
