FMGE December 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the last date for submission of deficient documents for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session.
Candidates can now upload their pending or deficient documents till January 7, 2026 (11:55 PM) through the official website at exam.natboard.edu.in/fmge.php. Earlier, the deadline to submit these documents was January 2, 2026.
NBEMS stated that during the scrutiny of FMGE December 2025 applications, one or more deficiencies were found in several cases. The details of these deficiencies were communicated individually to candidates through email.
These documents are required to decide the eligibility of candidates as per the rules mentioned in the FMGE December 2025 information bulletin.

FMGE December 2025: Types of deficiencies identified
NBEMS has listed the following common deficiencies:
- Non-submission of Primary Medical Qualification Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate, duly apostilled or attested by the Embassy of India in the country where the degree was obtained
- Missing Eligibility Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the former Medical Council of India (MCI), wherever applicable
- Non-submission of admission letter or proof of qualifying the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG), where required
- Missing proof of citizenship
- Mismatch in name or date of birth across submitted documents
- Lack of supporting documents in cases of transfer from one medical institution to another
