'He knows how to leak paper': YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attacks Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu over DSC recruitment
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday hit out at CM Chandrababu Naidu over the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process, alleging large-scale irregularities and saying the exercise had hurt the trust of lakhs of job aspirants.
Addressing a press conference in Tadepalli, Reddy said the teacher recruitment process had damaged the future of talented youth due to alleged scams and mismanagement. “Looking at all the facts coming to light today regarding the District Selection Committee (DSC), it is extremely shocking. CM N Chandrababu Naidu's government has betrayed the trust of lakhs of candidates through scams, severely damaging the lives of talented aspirants,” he said.
He further said the process was highly flawed and unprecedented in its shortcomings. “Never before has such a disastrous recruitment process been witnessed anywhere. DSC represents the hopes and future of lakhs of youth. Resorting to corruption and irregularities even in such a recruitment process is highly deplorable,” he said.
In a sharp attack on the Chief Minister, Reddy added, “If lies, deceit, betrayal, backstabbing and scams were dressed in a shirt and pant, that would be N Chandrababu Naidu.”
He further attacked the Chief Minister over past incidents and alleged a pattern of paper leaks. He said, “Let me tell you once about the Chandrababu administration, listen... 1995: 10th class paper leak, 1996: EAMCET engineering paper leak, 1997: Intermediate paper leak, 2017: 10th class science paper leak, 2019: 10th class paper leak, 2025: B.Ed paper leak, 2025: 10th class maths paper leak... Now, the DSC paper leak! Chandrababu knows very well how to leak papers and how to make money!”
On May 31, School Education Department Secretary Kona Sasidhar had denied any manipulation or procedural deviations in the recruitment drive. He said the exam, held after nearly six years, was conducted transparently through a computer-based test on the TCS iON platform.
Sasidhar also said that claims circulating on social media and in parts of the media were due to confusion over horizontal reservation rules, and stressed that there had been “no deviation or violation of any prescribed procedures whatsoever.”
The Mega DSC recruitment is a state-level examination conducted to recruit government school teachers in Andhra Pradesh.
