KVS Admission Result 2026-27: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially declared the first provisional selection lists for admissions to the 2026–27 academic session, bringing relief to thousands of students and parents who had been awaiting the results after the conclusion of the registration process.The admission registrations for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class I were conducted in online mode from March 20 to April 2, 2026. With this phase now complete, the process has moved into the selection and admission stage.KVS Balvatika Lottery result 2026 released at kvs.gov.inFirst provisional lists now availableAs per the notified schedule, the first provisional list for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-2 (where applicable), and Balvatika-3 has been released on April 8, 2026. The list for Class I has been released on April 9, 2026.In regions including Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, the declaration of both Balvatika and Class I lists has been deferred to April 10, 2026, due to polling for the ongoing general elections.The released lists include names of selected candidates along with waiting lists. Admissions will be carried out in a phased manner—beginning with candidates under the Right to Education (RTE) category, followed by Service Priority Category I and II, and subsequently other categories based on seat availability.
Second and third lists later this monthKVS will release the second provisional list on April 16, 2026, if seats remain vacant after the first round of admissions. A third provisional list is scheduled for April 21, 2026. These subsequent lists will facilitate further admissions depending on the availability of seats.Offline admissions under special categoriesIn case sufficient applications are not received through the online process, KVS will issue a second notification on April 21, 2026, for offline registrations under RTE, SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories. The display of selection lists and completion of admissions under this category will take place between April 27 and April 30, 2026.Lists for other classes on April 13For Balvatika-2 and Class II onwards (except Class XI), offline admissions were conducted from April 2 to April 8, 2026, subject to vacancy. The selection list for these classes will be released on April 13, 2026, with admissions scheduled from April 15 to April 20, 2026.Class XI admissions linked to CBSE resultsAdmissions to Class XI will commence after the declaration of Class X board results by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For existing Kendriya Vidyalaya students, registration will begin within ten days of the result announcement.The admission list will be displayed and the process completed within twenty days of the Class X results declaration. For non-KV students, admissions will begin thereafter, depending on seat availability.The final date for admission to Class XI is set at 30 days from the declaration of the Class X results.Final admission deadlinesThe last date for admission to all classes, except Class XI, is June 30, 2026. However, in case of vacant seats, admissions may continue until July 31, 2026, subject to approval by the Deputy Commissioner and adherence to the prescribed student strength.KVS has directed all Kendriya Vidyalayas to publish the provisional lists on their official websites, notice boards, and social media platforms to ensure transparency and accessibility for applicants.
