The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially declared the TS Inter Results 2026 for both 1st and 2nd year students. More than 9 lakh candidates who appeared for the Intermediate Public Examinations can now check their marks memo online through official portals such as tgbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. The results were released around 11 AM, as confirmed by the board.

Students can access their scorecards by entering their hall ticket number and required login credentials. The result includes subject-wise marks, grades, qualifying status, and overall performance details. The board has also enabled cohosting platforms like TOI and Manabadi for quick access due to high traffic on official websites.

Nearly 9.97 lakh students appeared for exams
Around 9.97 lakh students appeared for the TS Inter examinations 2026 across Telangana. The 1st year exams were held from February 25 to March 17, while the 2nd year exams were conducted from February 26 to March 18. The large participation highlights the importance of Intermediate examinations in the state’s academic structure.

TS Inter 2026 pass percentage: 1st year at 66.94%, 2nd year at 70.52%
This year, the overall pass percentage for the 1st year stands at 66.20%, with 2,95,780 students passing out of 4,41,864 appeared candidates. For the 2nd year, the pass percentage is 70.58%, with 3,26,027 students passing out of 4,62,320 candidates. The results reflect steady academic performance across Telangana.

Grading system and passing criteria
To qualify in TS Inter exams, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject, including theory and practicals. An overall aggregate of 35% is required to pass. The grading system classifies students into A (75% and above), B (60–74%), C (50–59%), and D (35–49%).

Gender-wise performance highlights strong results
In the 1st year, girls recorded a pass percentage of 74.40%, while boys stood at 57.69%, showing strong female performance. In the 2nd year, girls achieved 78.65% pass percentage compared to 62.50% for boys, continuing the trend of higher female performance across Telangana.

Stream-wise performance overview
In the 2nd year, MPC emerged as the top-performing group with 78.01% pass rate, followed by BPC at 76.04% and MEC at 67.91%. CEC recorded 49.39%, while HEC stood at 49.25%, indicating variation in performance across streams.

Result day process and next steps for students
After the declaration, students can download their marks memo online. Those unsatisfied with their results may apply for revaluation, recounting, or supplementary examinations. The provisional marks memo will serve as an immediate reference until original certificates are issued by schools.
