TS LAWCET & TS PGLCET 2026 tomorrow: Timings, qualifying marks, result date and important guidelines
Telangana Law and PG Law Common Entrance Test: The TS LAWCET 2026 and TS PGLCET 2026 also known as TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET examinations will be conducted on Monday, May 18, across multiple centres in Telangana. Thousands of candidates seeking admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB courses as well as LLM programmes are expected to appear for the entrance tests.
According to the official schedule, the TS LAWCET 3-year LLB examination will be held in two shifts, from 9.30 am to 11 am and from 12.30 pm to 2 pm. Meanwhile, the TS LAWCET 5-year LLB examination and TS PGLCET for LLM admissions will be conducted from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.
The entrance examinations will be conducted in English and Telugu or English and Urdu for TS LAWCET candidates, while TS PGLCET will be held only in English.
For TS LAWCET 2026, candidates must secure at least 35% marks, which means 42 marks out of 120, to qualify in the entrance examination. However, no minimum qualifying marks have been prescribed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
For TS PGLCET 2026, candidates need a minimum of 25% marks, or 30 out of 120, to qualify. Here too, SC and ST candidates are exempted from minimum qualifying marks.
Merely qualifying in the examination will not guarantee admission. Candidates must participate in counselling, apply during the admission process, and meet all eligibility conditions prescribed by the authorities.
The preliminary answer key for both TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET 2026 will be released on May 23. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional key till May 25.
As per the official information brochure, the results of TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET 2026 are expected to be announced tentatively on June 6, 2026.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their admit cards:
- Visit the official TS LAWCET portal.
- Click on the “Download Hall Ticket” link available on the homepage.
- A new login window will appear on the screen.
- Enter the registration number, mobile number, and date of birth.
- Click on the submit or download button.
- Download the TS LAWCET or TS PGLCET 2026 hall ticket.
- Take a printout of the admit card for exam day and future reference.
