TNEA 2026 registration begins at tneaonline.org: Check direct link to apply and key details
TNEA 2026 registration: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has started the registration process for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026. Candidates who want to take admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses in Tamil Nadu can now apply online through the official websites — tneaonline.org and dte.tn.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the last date to register for TNEA 2026 is June 2. Candidates will be allowed to upload their required documents till June 6.
To complete the application process, candidates need to pay a registration fee. Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates have to pay Rs 250, while Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates need to pay Rs 500.
TNEA is conducted for admission to engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. Around two lakh seats are available in more than 400 government and government-aided colleges affiliated with Anna University. Admissions will be done through an online counselling process under a single-window system managed by the DoTE.

Candidates must upload their certificates carefully for verification. If there is any issue or mismatch in the documents, they should contact the authorities using their registered mobile number or email ID.
The authorities have also provided support for applicants. Candidates can call the toll-free number 1800 425 0110 between 8 am and 6 pm or send an email to tneacare@gmail.com for help during the registration process.
Last year, more than 400 colleges participated in the counselling process, offering over 2.5 lakh engineering seats across the state.
