TG POLYCET Counselling 2026 begins from May 27, seat allotment by June 6: Check full schedule here

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, has officially released the TG POLYCET Counselling 2026 notification for students seeking admission into diploma courses across the state. Candidates who qualified in the Telangana POLYCET 2026 examination can now check the complete counselling schedule, registration dates, certificate verification process, web option entry, seat allotment, and reporting details through the official counselling portal.Students seeking admission into government, aided, and private polytechnic colleges in Telangana will be able to participate in the counselling process. According to the official schedule, the online registration process will begin from May 27, 2026.The process involved in the counseling includes making payments of the processing fee, slot booking, certificate verification, web option filling, seat allocation, self-declaration, and declaration in allotted institutions. Seat allocation of the first phase is likely to be announced by June 6, 2026, while counseling for the last phase will be initiated in mid-June.Students have been advised to make sure that they have all the relevant certificates and other required documents handy before appearing in the verification process. Candidates must first pay the processing fee online using debit card, credit card, or internet banking. After fee payment, students will have to book slots for certificate verification.Candidates must then visit the counselling centres with original certificates and photocopies for document verification. Once verification is completed successfully, students can participate in web-based counselling and option entry.During option entry, candidates will be allowed to select their preferred colleges and diploma courses. Students are advised to choose maximum options to improve their chances of getting a seat.After the completion of option entry, candidates must lock their choices before the deadline. Seats will then be allotted based on rank, reservation criteria, and availability of seats.Candidates allotted seats will have to download the allotment letter, complete fee payment, and report to the allotted institute within the prescribed dates.The TS POLYCET 2026 processing fee for OC and BC category candidates is Rs. 600, while SC and ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 300 during the counselling registration process.
