Wind blowing in our favour, says PM Modi
HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed on Saturday the wind was blowing in favour of BJP in the November 30 state elections and the people of Telangana were well aware that only the saffron party would bring about the changes they desired.
Addressing a public meeting in Kamareddy, he claimed the fear of "imminent defeat' on the faces of CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy and that is why they chose to contest two seats each.
"I know the people of Telangana want to move on from their betrayal-filled past... After suffering for more than nine years under BRS' rule, they want to be free of its clutches," Modi said.
Attacking Congress, the PM said people of the region sought independence from the grand old party.
