Arjun feels excited as the release of Srimoti approaches

As the release date of Srimoti is approaching, the director Arjun Dutta cannot help but feel anxious and excited. He said that it is not just because the film would be released after almost a year of delay but also because of its subject.
Shrimoti is a family drama, which stars Swastika Mukherjee opposite Soham Chakraborty. She is madly in love with her husband but is also attracted to the glamour of an expensive lifestyle.Her attraction grows to the extent that she ends up losing her own identity. “The film deals with a very delicate subject if women have to go out for independence. What about those who want to be or are already happy being homemakers? Empowerment can come even if a woman doesn’t go out and attend an office,” Arjun said.
This heavy topic has been shown in the film in a very lite and comical way. “There are several funny moments between Soham and Swastika in the film. This was set for a theatrical release in March last year, but in the present situation, I am really hopeful about the project,” Arjunn added.
