'Basu Poribar' latest poster introduces Rituparna and Aparna Sen as mother-daughter

‘Basu Paribaar’ directed by Suman Ghosh comes with one of the best ensemble castings in recent times. Rituparna Sengupta, Aparna Sen, Soumitra Chatterjee, Sudiptaa Chakraborty, Jisshu Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Lili Chakraborty – you name it and everyone is here to enthrall you.
Ahead of the upcoming family drama’s trailer launch here’s a new poster featuring Rituparna Sengupta and Aparna Sen who play daughter and mother respectively in the film.

Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen will be reuniting on screen after a gap of almost 19 years. The ageless pair was last seen together in ‘Paromitar Ekdin’ (2000). While this is Suman Ghosh’s 4^th film with Soumitra, he is collaborating with Aparna Sen for the first time.
Shooting for the film was wrapped up way back in 2017 and then it was a long wait for the entire team. Now, the wait is finally over. The much anticipated family drama is releasing in April. Given the title ‘Basu Paribaar’ you may think of a typical family drama but the director has promised already there will be some mystery elements. The plot is inspired by a story written by Irish novelist James Joyce.
