After being feted at festivals in Mumbai and abroad, Chauranga ��� starring Arpita ��� has now made it to the competition section of Indische Filmfestival Stuttgart in Germany. In the film, Arpita plays the wife of a zamindar and has a complete deglam look.Chauranga is about a 14-year-old Dalit boy's infatuation with an older girl. Parts of the movie was shot in Bengal, before the team moved out to Orissa after a dispute with the Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India.

Onir who has helmed the production of the film with
Sanjay Suri, ���I'm very excited to announce this news. Sanjay and I will be present along with director Bikas Ranjan Mishra at the festival on July 18."
