Paayel pairs up with Sourav Das

Souradip Banerjee, who had earlier made Sector V, is all set to direct his second film — Korapak. The movie stars Paayel Sarkar, Sourav Das, Anindya Chatterjee, Rii and others.
“The film is a romantic comedy, which shows if one is true to his emotions, the distance notwithstanding, love will survive. The film is about Dev and Priya, who meet each other accidentally. They become friends and gradually fall in love.But there is a problem between them. They are confused about their future together and whether they really feel for each other. So, both of them decide to stay away from each other for six months to know where they stand. Meanwhile, Dev meets a girl through an online dating site and Priya comes to know that her boss likes her. So, whether Dev and Priya unite at the end is what the film is all about,” said the director. The film will go on the floors from mid-May. Paayel, who is looking forward to the film, told us, “It is a love story, which addresses the issue of commitment phobia. This isn’t uncommon.”
