Working in the glamour world – that’s all about good looks and toned bodies is not exactly as easy as it looks from the outside. In fact, Body shaming and trolling are now dark realities no one can escape from, especially online. On several occasions, celebs have fought back with classy replies that have schooled these online haters. Be it Paoli Dam, Sreelekha Mitra, Swastika Mukherjee or Ritabhari Chakraborty; everyone has raised their voice against online trolls and the year 2021 wasn’t any different.

Many of her tweets, social media posts have received backlash. So, what’s her take on trolls? Swastika Mukherjee, one of the finest actors in Tollywood, says that’s “nothing new” and also such things “won’t stop” her from speaking her mind. While trolling and criticism will always shadow you if there’s public presence, Swastika is not that person who takes it lying down. Be it slamming haters or shutting down trolls, the versatile actress has carved a niche for herself and this year wasn’t different. From taking a dig at those who tried to troll her daughter, making a stand against body shaming to protecting her personal life – the firebrand actress was at her best.

The ‘Nirbhaya’ actress has always been vocal on social issues and has never shied away from expressing her views. Even when her pictures and videos became victim of body shaming Sreelekha didn’t stop, instead, she continued to share snippets from her workout, photoshoot and moments with her furry friends. She brilliantly clapped back against body shaming and reminded us of why we should love our bodies.

The popular actor has decided to talk less amid the ongoing controversy. She in fact says if people are sick and have all the time to engage in all these negativities, they are welcome to do so since she is a positive person by nature.
