Suman Ghosh teams up with Shiboprosad Mukherjee for new comedy-drama

On Wednesday, filmmaker Suman Ghosh commenced shooting for his next feature film Familywala, a comedy-family drama that promises a heartwarming blend of humour and emotions rooted in everyday relationships.

Headlined by Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Familywala features a strong ensemble cast including Swastika Mukherjee, Sudipta Chakraborty and Anushua Mazumder in pivotal roles. The film brings together performers known for their versatility, setting the stage for a story that explores family dynamics with warmth, wit and relatability. Staying true to the genre’s emotional core, Familywala delves into the nuances of familial relationships, aiming to resonate with audiences across generations through familiar situations, gentle humour and heartfelt moments.
