Saswata can’t believe his ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star Sushant Singh Rajput is no more

Saswata Chatterjee had shared the screen with Sushant Singh Rajput in yet-to-be-released ‘Dil Bechara’ and the news of Sushant’s suicide has left him devastated. It’s heartbreaking when you see someone who had so much to deliver leave us so soon.

“He was a young actor filled with so much liveliness and who had the potential to give so much to Indian cinema. We all are going through a very difficult time. I don't know what forced him to take this extreme step. Being creative and emotional, artistes sometimes go through difficult phases in life, but one has to look at life as a bigger canvas. It’s like a big journey. Maybe he had to take the decision in haste," said a saddened Saswata as Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death came as a huge blow to everyone.

‘Dil Bechara’, directed by Mukesh Chhabra, also stars Swastika Mukherjee and Fukrey fame Sanjana Sanghi among others. The film is a Hindi remake of ‘Fault In Our Stars’.

It becomes a part of your being. I just want to tell anyone out there suffering please seek help. I have and I have been dealing with it. It's not been easy but I have friends and family who have been there for me. My doctors have been a huge support. So, please don't let this just be a social media trend. The piece was later set to tune by Anupam. This song serves as a testament to the uncertainty and deep melancholy of the lockdown period.
