History was made on Saturday when 1st Vivel Filmfare Awards 2013 (East) came to Kolkata. From Jaya Bachchan hugging Madhabi Mukherjee while presenting her with the Lifetime Achievement award to Rituparna Sengupta dancing in glee when director duo Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay and Nandita Roy picked the Best Director award and Soumitra Chatterjee being greeted with a standing ovation while receiving Critics' Award for Best Actor (Male), the event will be remembered for its many memorable moments. The evening also saw electrifying performances by the Tolly bigwigs as well as their counterparts from Odisa and Assam. While announcing Konkona Sen Sharma's name as the Best Actress, Bolly diva Sonam Kapoor said, "I am very happy that I am presenting this award to my favourite actress."
