The stars of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' graced the purple carpet at the world premiere on Wednesday night.
The star brought their fashion A-game to the big event, and also incorporated a little something special to honour the memory of their late 'king' and former 'Black Panther', Chadwick Boseman. Director, Ryan Coogler, arrived at the premiere wearing white for Boseman, who played T'Challa.

In a statement to ET, he said, "It's in honour of him, and also in celebration of all he did for us. It works both ways."

Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri, T'Challa's younger sister, also arrived in a black suit with sequin detailing around the shoulders. She was seen striking the signature Wakanda Forever pose on the purple carpet.

The actress was also joined by her fellow co-stars including Angela Bassett.
As soon as photos and videos from the premiere turned up online, fans noted how Letitia paid homage to her late co-star Chadwick. Sharing side-by-side images of the actress at the premiere and Chadwick at the 2018 Oscars, many fans got emotional at the sweet tribute.

A fan tweeted, "CHADWICK BOSEMAN'S LEGACY LIVES ON FOREVER!!!"

At the premiere, Wright opened up about the sequel and said that a lot of the credit goes to Coogler.
In a statement to ET, "We're extremely proud of how Ryan has brought a script that could honour Chad, that could honour T'Challa."
"I'm so proud of the way us as a family, the Wakandan family that you know and love, has come together to bring you a second instalment, and yet, it's really hard to do this without our brother -- he should be here," she added.

"But, as he's looking down on us, we're hoping that this film just makes him proud, and we're hoping that you guys are proud of us for what we've brought to you," she concluded.
'Wakanda Forever' also stars Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett.
The film that releases in theatres on November 11, will follow Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M`Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje as they fight to protect Wakanda from intervening world powers after the demise of their King T`Challa.
