Koepp wrote the screenplay for Disclosure Day based on an original story by Spielberg. His earlier credits include 'Jurassic Park,' 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park,' and 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.'Spielberg has long been associated with stories about extraterrestrial life. Beyond War of the Worlds, his earlier classics Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial explored encounters with alien life from a more hopeful perspective. Disclosure Day will arrive in theaters and IMAX on June 12, 2026.
