More about John Alford’s case

Last year, John Alford was accused of providing alcohol to two teenage girls and taking advantage of them. Till the very end, Alford maintained that he was innocent and had not done anything to the girls. As per BBC and The Guardian, the actor had done all of this in April 2022; however, the charges were brought forth much later. His trial was held at the St. Albans Crown Court, where the prosecutor delved into details about the matter.
He stated in court that Alford “was fully aware of the girls' ages, yet he chose to exploit them - giving them alcohol and then committing sexual offences against them.”He was later found guilty on four counts of sexual activity with the 14-year-old girl and charges of sexual assault and assault by penetration with the 15-year-old girl.

Not John Alford’s first arrest

This was not the first time that the late actor had been arrested. In 1999, he was found guilty of supplying cocaine and cannabis to someone who had turned out to be an undercover journalist. He was sent to jail for 9 months and was also fired from one of his most popular shows, ‘Burning.’DISCLAIMER: If you or someone you know is experiencing assault or abuse, please seek immediate help.
