Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s luxurious Montecito mansion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito mansion in California is a large and beautiful home that shows their love for luxury and style. It is a place full of comfort and elegance. This Montecito estate is more than just a house for Harry and Meghan — it is a private retreat that blends natural beauty with high-end living. Let’s take a look inside their stunning mansion.

About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Harry and Meghan met for the first time in 2016 and got married in 2018. In January 2020, they decided to step down from their roles as senior royals. That same year, they left their UK home, Frogmore Cottage, and moved to California in the United States. Now, they live in their Montecito mansion with their two children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet.

Value of the property

The couple bought this mansion in June 2020 for $14.65 million. According to a report by Realtytoday.com, the value of the property has nearly doubled to about $29.6 million. The home was also shown in their six-part series OTT 'Harry & Meghan', where Meghan’s home office was featured.

Designs of the mansion

Inside, the house mixes modern and Victorian designs. The off-white walls give the rooms a fresh and calm feel, while large windows and wide doors make the space bright and airy. The estate also includes a tea house, a chicken coop, and a guest house with two bedrooms.

Luxurious indoor and outdoor spaces

The mansion has many luxurious indoor features, such as a home office for both Harry and Meghan to work in, a gym and sauna with modern fitness equipment, a wine cellar, a games room, a library, and a home theatre for private movie nights. Outside, the grounds are just as beautiful and well-planned. There are large gardens full of green plants, tiered rose beds, and olive trees that create a peaceful atmosphere. The swimming pool looks like one from a luxury hotel, and there is a tennis court for sports and fun. There is also a children’s play area with swings, slides, and other activities.

Meghan Markle called the mansion “calm and healing”

In 2022, during an interview with The Cut, Meghan described the house as “calm and healing” and said it makes her feel free. She explained, “We did everything we could to get this house. Because you walk in and go… joy, and exhale, and calm. It’s healing. You feel free.”
