‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has been garnering a lot of attention. While the old names, such as
Emily Blunt,
Anne Hathaway, and
Meryl Streep, among many others, will be reprising their roles in the film, there are new additions as well. One such addition to the cast is Pauline Chalamet, who is mainly known for her role in the show ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls.’ Not only that, but she is also the sister of the ‘Dune’ actor Timothée Chalamet as well. In a recent interview, the actress delved into how she managed to land the role and how nervous she was the first time she started playing.
Pauline Chalamet is still in disbelief over being cast in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ 2
Pauline Chalamet, while sitting down for an interview with People at the New York-Paris Fashion Week, revealed what she thought about her casting on the show. She shared that at first she thought that the announcement itself was nothing more than a mere joke.
She shared, "I blacked out. So I don't remember; I kind of didn't believe it until I was given dates. I kind of went, 'Oh, you pranked me; that's not really going to happen.' And then I was given the blueprint for the looks." While talking about the film, she shared that she feels all of the looks from the first movie in 2006 are “iconic.” Rest, she also added, “It's a perfect movie. And I really mean that; it is a perfect movie. It's so fun.”
