Martin Short’s life experiences and relation to the quote
Martin Short has faced several personal losses throughout his life. Over the years, he has lost many close family members and has openly spoken about grief and resilience.
Back in 2010, his wife of many years, Nancy Dolman, passed away after battling ovarian cancer.
When Short was only 12 years old, he lost his older brother, David Short, in a car accident in 1962. Years later, in 1968, his mother passed away due to cancer, while his father died two years later following complications from a stroke.
