Robert Downey Jr. and Pedro Pascal have nothing but appreciation for each other. The actors met on the set of ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ and have been filming in the UK ahead of its December 2026 release.

Not only did they spend time with each other at the film sets, but Downey hosted something called as ‘Homework Days’ at his home for the cast to have workshop scenes. “Pascal’s slow trajectory to becoming a household name who is on a wildly hot streak kind of reaffirms my faith in our industry,” the 60-year-old actor said about his co-star, according to Vanity Fair.

Pascal gave a compliment to the ‘Iron Man’ actor as well, by stating that he is generous and makes you feel invited when the others feel nervous, hungry or ambivalent. Previously, ‘The Last of Us’ star was bashed by the netizens for getting cast as Reed Richards, citing that he is too old, he is not right, and he needs to shave. In the difficult times, Pascal turned towards Downey and became committed to his Marvel role.

Other co-stars who have praised Pedro Pascal include his ‘Fantastic Four’ co-star, Vanessa Kirby. “He doesn’t have much armour, so he shows himself to you straight away, and you trust that person because he’s revealing himself to you in this very brave way,” she said.

Pedro’s 21-year-old co-star, Bella Ramsey, also supported him. She pointed out that she dislikes it when people refer to him as Daddy. “I want to protect him from that whole joke of becoming the internet’s daddy. I was like, ‘I don’t want everyone to refer to you as that and see you as that. You’re so much more,” she said.
