Dominic Sessa wants to work on more holiday films
While talking to People, the actor shared his love for holiday-centric films and how he wishes to do similar projects again and again. During the New York City premiere of his latest film, ‘Oh. What. Fun.’, which is centered around Christmas, Sessa shared that he wants to create a niche for himself.
“I don't know how this happened, but I'm leaning into it. I also just love Christmas. I want to be the Christmas king. So, however I can exist in a Christmas movie, I'm there,” the 23-year-old actor shared. Sessa has so far only worked in 4 films, two of which seem to be Christmas movies.
About ‘Oh. What. Fun.’
‘Oh. What. Fun.’ is his latest addition to his acting credits, where he plays the role of Michelle Pfeiffer’s on-screen son. The film centers around Claire Cluster, who deals with the holidays on her own as her family leaves her behind. Taking inspiration from the classic ‘Home Alone’ genre, the film boasts a star cast and a fun take on what it means to be around family for Christmas and New Year’s.
The official synopsis reads, “By the time they realize she's missing, Claire’s already set off on a festive adventure of her own—one that doesn’t involve cooking, cleaning, or coordinating anyone else’s chaos. As her family scrambles to find her and salvage their Christmas, Claire rediscovers what the holidays mean when you’re finally free to put yourself first.”
