Timothée Chalamet shares how a co-star criticized him once: ‘Beware of the people in life that get more of the advice’
‘Marty Supreme’ actor Timothée Chalamet recently opened up about an incident he shared with one of his co-stars from a previous project. Referring to the person as “punk,” the actor talked about how this person questioned his acting skills and his on-screen performance that one time.

Referring to the person as “punk”, the actor shared that “He asked me what conservatory I had gone to, and I said I didn’t go to an acting conservatory. And he said, ‘Well, you haven’t trained as an actor then.’ And we were all part of an ensemble.”
He further detailed how he dealt with the matter, understanding that there will always be people like this who will try to bring you down no matter what. “I always said, ‘Beware of the people in life that get more of the advice they give you than you get at the advice. They’re thrilled by the act of giving you advice. All of a sudden you can’t listen to what they’re saying anymore because they’re flexing on you so hard,” he commented.
He joked, “Wow, that’s so personal, you’re gonna get me in trouble, man. Yes.”
On the work front, Chalamet last appeared on the big screen as Marty Mauser in ‘Marty Supreme’, a biographical film about a famed Tennis player. In a recent interview with Variety alongside ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ actor Matthew McConaughey, Chalamet revealed that he had a questionable altercation with one of his co-stars. While he did not name the person or the project directly, he shared that the person had questioned his acting skills publicly and tried to demean his skill set when they were working together.Referring to the person as “punk”, the actor shared that “He asked me what conservatory I had gone to, and I said I didn’t go to an acting conservatory.
