This year, the Oscars brought a whiff of relief to the fashion police who must be overwhelmed with the Hollywood hotties turning out in their classic best on the awards night. With pastel shades, thigh-high slits dominating the red carpet with a pinch of glitter, the Oscars this year were one of the most decent ones. From Lady Gaga to Dakota Johnson, the red carpet witnessed the best ever avatars of the Hollywood celebs. Have a look.

Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson chose red for the Academy Awards. Looking picture perfect in a straight cut Saint Laurent gown, Dakota was the epitome of beauty on the Oscar red carpet. The diva walked effortlessly in the floor-length, one-shoulder gown with a knotted glitter detailing. And the side slit just added the right amount of oomph to the diva who completed her look with loosely tied hair.

Pregnant Keira Knightley was the most beautiful diva on the Oscar red carpet, courtesy her flower power. Nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for the film The Imitation Game, Keira walked around in a beige chiffon dress adorned with flowers and words written here and there. Paired with a cute hair band, Keira kept it easy and simple in short curls parted at the centre.

Actress Rosamund Pike, nominated in the Best Actress category for the film Gone Girl, looked desirable on the Oscar red carpet wearing a red gown. Looking marvelous in a figure-hugging gown, Rosamund seemed to be dressed in roses as the dress not just highlighted her tiny waist and her svelte frame, but also added to her poise. The diva did away without any jewellery as her confidence added to her looks.

Pop singers seemed to steal all the attention on the red carpet as they put their best foot forward at the event. Looking gorgeous in a custom-made Thakoon gown with an embellished neck, Anna wooed the guests in her peach ensemble with a keyhole detailing.
