Maharashtra Day celebrated with an array of cultural programs

, Aurangabadkars got to witness various cultural performances from all over the state. On the occasion of Maharashtra Day, the early morning program was inaugurated by chief guest Vasudev Aala. The programme commenced with events like

gondhal

, shahiri, lavnani, regional songs, planned for the spectators. During these events, Vasudev also shed light on the problem faced by the people due to undisciplined disposal of garbage waste. He emphasised on the importance of garbage disposal and the role each and everyone plays in doing so.

Maharashtra's struggle for freedom was depicted through the song 'Majhi Maina Gavakade Rahili' and the audience was spellbound by the lavani performances on songs like '

Wajle Ki Baara

' and '

Raya Mala Sodun Jau Naka

’. Apart from this, there was an electric jugalbandi of old songs and lavanis which, the audience was extremely mesmerised by. The event was attended by well-known dignitaries and was all in all a fun day for audience.
