doweshowbellyad=0; NAMASTE INDIA: Danny Ventura (TOI Photo)This event, organised by Femina, had everyone in high spirits... And what's more, smelling of roses and all things nice.A FRAGRANT DIALOGUE: Everyone came out of this one smelling of roses, and other nice things. Femina organised Femina Dialogues in association with Issey Miyake, and Danny Ventura from Issey Miyake flew down to the capital trailing perfume, and teaching Delhiites how to do the same! 'WAIT'Y ISSUES: The event was a bit delayed , but the audience did not mind waiting.
When he arrived, Danny started with the history of fragrances, how perfumes are manufactured and how and when fragrances should be worn. Among his more unusual tips was that perfume should be worn on the
lower part of the body. It would leave "a trail of perfume behind you," he explained. So it's behind the knees, not behind the earlobe! And he also said that the best way to preserve perfumes was to keep it in the fridge. Smells cool, wotsay? NOT THE SMELLS Danny's focus, however, was food, not smells. He was having a good time in India and wanted to explore. "I just love the food here. I want to come here for a holiday again and try all kinds of cuisines - especially food at a dhaba." Thumbs up your enthusiasm, Danny!
