On the 6th day of Lokrang, Jaipurites grooved to the tunes of Kawa Brass Band. The Band presented various folk, romantic and patriotic songs including ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon’, ‘Maalik Tere Bande Hum’, ‘Gorband’ and ‘Ghoomar’.
The band performed under the direction of Hameed Khan Kawa. The artistes were Hakam Ali, Roshan, Raees, Anwar, Yaspal, Akshay and others.
The band also had one French artiste. The performance was a spectacular showcase of North Indian gypsy heritage.
The famous cultural diversity of India was evident on the stage as artists from different regions of the country are participating in it. Folk dances from various parts of India were enjoyed and appreciated by the audience. Various performances like Samai (Goa), Gotipua (Odisha), Lavani (Maharashtra), Bihu (Assam), Pung Cholam (Manipur) and Kalbeliya (Rajasthan) among others authenticated the cultural diversity of the country.
