Recently, due to the rise in the cases of Coronavirus, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra imposed a

weekend lockdown

and has urged people to follow the norms. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, Bharat Chawda shared his thoughts on the Government's decision.

He said, "Pandemic has brought multiple changes in our lives and especially in the industry, making people lose their job. Not just physical but also mental health has become a major concern when stuck at home. We are at a turning point now and all of us need to co-operate and help the Government."

He further added: "It has been a year and we are still struggling to understand the importance of the norms and it is high time we follow them right. We need to take care and maintain self-discipline otherwise this pandemic would result in irreversible consequences. It is my request to all my viewers to keep following the rules and defeat the situation."
