Exclusive! Hemang Dave: Jagdeep Sahab was a legend and will live forever through his tremendous roles

Bollywood is going through a tough phase as the industry has lost another gem, one of the comedians in the history of Hindi cinema, Jagdeep. The industry has lost some of the best artists like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Saroj Khan and now it is the iconic comedian. The 'Sholay' star gave stellar performances in many films like 'China Gate', 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Sholay' and many more.Jagdeep was 81 when he took his last breath on the night of July 8. Talking about the veteran actor’s demise, Gujarati comedian-actor Hemang Dave exclusively opened up to ETimes about his thoughts.
Hemang shared, "This year is getting darker by the day with the series of sad news one after the other. One more amazing innings ends and this time of the veteran actor Jagdeep Sahab. He was a legend and will live forever through his tremendous roles. This legend is no more with us now but his work and his amazing roles like “Surma Bhopali” will never go from this world. My heartfelt condolences to Jagdeep Sahab's family and may his soul rest in peace."
Hemang will be soon seen on the big screen with his upcoming Hindi film 'Kahani Rubber Band Ki' along with two Gujarati films 'Peti Pack' and 'Bagad Billa'.
