'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' box office collection Day 10: The Sonam Kapoor starrer collects Rs 1.80 crore on its second weekend

Shelly Chopra Dhar directorial 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', starring Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles performed average at the box office on its second weekend. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles. The film witnessed an average first-week collection. Based on the theme of homosexuality, the movie is one of the few mainstream films in the country which has touched upon the subject.

According to the latest report by BoxofficeIndia.com, on its tenth day, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 75 lakh on its second Friday at the box office. The second-weekend collections of the film stand at a total of Rs 1.80 crore. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 18.21 crore at the box office in ten days.

FYI, the film collected Rs 16.36 crore at the box office in its first week. The second-weekend collections of the film stand at a total of Rs 1.80 crore.

The plot of the film revolves around the title character Sweety Chaudhary (played by Sonam Kapoor) who is in a homosexual relationship with a girl and goes on to reject several marriage proposals within her Punjabi family while hiding her identity as she tries to come out of the religious, cultural and societal barriers.
