According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, the comedy sequel earned around Rs 90 lakh in India net on Day 4, slipping below the Rs 1 crore mark. While weekday declines are expected, trade observers note that the fall is significant for a film that has struggled to build strong momentum since its release.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna Nandamuri’s ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’ remains a force in the southern markets, adding an estimated Rs 5.4 crore net on Monday. The film has collected approximately Rs 64.5 crore from the Telugu net box office and Rs 1.4 crore from the Tamil net box office, taking its total gross to Rs 78.75 crore and worldwide collections to Rs 89.35 crore.

The film opened with Rs 1.85 crore on Day 1, followed by a marginal rise to Rs 2.5 crore on Saturday. It recorded its best single-day performance on Sunday with approximately Rs 2.9 crore. With an opening weekend total of around Rs 7.20 crore and Monday’s collections added, the film’s estimated India net total now stands at Rs 8.1 crore.As per the report, the film's gross total collection stands at an impressive Rs 9.75 crore while the worldwide total gross collection now stands at an impressive Rs 10.35 crore.

Occupancy figures on Monday reflected waning audience interest. The film registered an overall 17.49% Hindi occupancy, with morning shows starting at 6.42%. Afternoon shows saw occupancy rise to 16.56%, while evening shows clocked 18.61%. The sustained dominance of both films has significantly curtailed the business of newer releases, including ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’. However, despite its muted run, the sequel has already emerged as Sharma’s third highest-grossing film.
