'Sanju' box-office collection Day 12: Ranbir Kapoor's film continues to lure the audience to the theatres

The Rajkumar Hirani directorial, 'Sanju' which is based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt and stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role, has shattered several records at the box office within a week of its release. Ever since the announcement of the film, 'Sanju' has been the talk of the town. When the first look, teaser, trailer and songs were released, everyone was stunned at Ranbir Kapoor's startling resemblance with Sanjay Dutt.His efforts were appreciated by critics and fans alike.

According to a recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com, 'Sanju' has raked in another Rs 7.50 crore which has helped the film's collection to reach a staggering figure of Rs 278.58 crore in just 12 days at the box office.

Apart from Ranbir 'Sanju' also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karishma Tanna and Jim Sarbh in significant roles. The film has not only been doing well in domestic circuit but has done a remarkable business worldwide too and looks all set to cross the Rs 300 crore milestone in the coming few days.
