'Uri: The Surgical Strike' box-office collection: Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer collects Rs 3.25 crore on its fourth Friday

Directed by Aditya Dhar 'Uri- The Surgical Strike' features Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. This war drama is based on the true events of 2016 when Indian Army retaliated the deadly terrorist attack at Uri Army Base camp in Kashmir by carrying out a surgical strike. The film is still going very strong in its fourth week. It tells the story of the 11 tumultuous events over which the operation was carried out.

As per reports on Boxofficeindia.com, the film collected Rs 3.25 crore on its fourth Friday. Based on the surgical strikes conducted in 2016 by the Indian Army, the film is a dramatisation of the Army's operation against terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 2016, in retaliation to an attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri that killed 17 Army personnel.

"How is the Josh" - the catchy phrase from this film recently made a debut in parliament with Union Minister Piyush Goyal's budget speech yesterday.

Apart from Yami Gautam and Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles.
