Just after Rashmika’s film ‘Sikandar’ (with Salman Khan) hit the cinemas on March 30, 20205, she was seen having a quiet lunch in Mumbai. The twist? She wasn’t alone – Vijay Deverakonda was with her! They tried to keep it under wraps, probably hoping to avoid the cameras. But as always, the paparazzi were quick to spot them. The photos went viral, and once again, people began wondering if the duo were more than just friends.

Now this one really got people talking. When the teaser for Rashmika’s next film ‘The Girlfriend’ was released, fans were surprised to hear Vijay’s voice in it! Turns out, she didn’t even know he was doing the voiceover. In a chat with ETimes, she shared, “So my director Rahul Ravindran actually asked Vijay to do the voiceover and I had no clue about it. So Rahul first gave me the teaser with his voice letting me know what he’s doing with it, and I was very happy with it. And few days before the release of the teaser, he sent me one with Vijay’s voice, and I was like what is happening, so Rahul told me that they asked Vijay to do that, and he was very kind and supportive to do it.” She also said, "We've done so much work together, like ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, were shot for like 1-1 years and thereon he’s been such a comrade, and always been supportive …”

That's the only scene I spoke to him about, saying I don't know where to start, and he gave me a perspective, which was quite interesting, and, of course, what happened on set was all Sukumar sir and Allu Arjun sir, but, he's been a constant help, and I'm really grateful.” It’s clear that their bond isn’t just for show – they genuinely support each other through work and more.
