After calling his daughter 'angrez', Manoj Bajpayee says her Hindi is improving

Actor Manoj Bajpayee recently shared an update on his daughter Ava Nayla's language skills. A while ago, he had called his daughter 'angrez' for only talking in English and for her lack of hindi proficiency.

Though he has now dropped a new update on this and revealed that Ava's Hindi is gradually improving. Speaking on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Manoj Bajpayee emphasized the significance of conversing in Hindi or their preferred regional language at home.


‘The Family Man’ actor highlighted the necessity of speaking Hindi at home, especially since Ava does not use the language at school. He expressed his delight at Ava's progress in Hindi, noting that her improved proficiency is a result of consistent practice at home.

Manoj Bajpayee humorously remarked, "My daughter is showing improvement in Hindi as she is now receiving good marks. Since she wasn't conversing in Hindi at school, it became necessary for us to speak the language at home. Otherwise, she would end up listening to Taylor Swift."

The actor also highlighted the importance of introducing children to their regional language from an early age. He emphasized that in cities like Mumbai, children may not learn their native language unless it is spoken to them regularly at home.

Previously, Manoj Bajpayee had shared Ava's struggles with Hindi, revealing that her Hindi teacher had expressed disappointment over her lack of proficiency. Despite efforts to improve, Ava's reluctance to speak Hindi persisted, leading her teacher to express concern during parent-teacher meetings.
