Amidst the speculations, producer Ramesh Taurani has clarified if the actor will be brought on board or not. Here's what he said.

Ramesh Taurani clarifies if Akshaye Khanna will be part of 'Race 4' or not

Producer Ramesh Taurani, in an interview with HT City, addressed the rumors around Akshaye Khanna's involvement in 'Race 4'. He said, "No, we have not approached Akshaye. There was no scope at all."


The producer also shared why the actor wouldn't be back on board. He said, "There is no thought about getting him. His character gets into an accident in the first movie; his track ended there, and it will remain at that."

Sidharth Malhotra to join Saif Ali Khan in 'Race 3'?

In the same interview, he was asked about the rumors that Sidharth Malhotra and Saif Ali Khan will be sharing screen space in the movie. To which Ramesh Taurani said, "No cast has been finalized till now. The work on the script is on."

The first film featured Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. In the second installment, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone were on board with Saif Ali Khan.
