Akshay Kumar shares patriotic message on 79th Independence Day: 'Here’s to the freedom that defines us'

On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram Stories to share his warm wishes with fans and fellow countrymen. The actor posted a striking photo of India Gate adorned with the national flag and added a heartfelt message that read, “Happy Independence Day. Here’s to the freedom that defines us and the pride that unites us. Swatantra Diwas ki shubkamna, Jai Hind.”Akshay’s journey into patriotic storytelling began with 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' (2014), where he played an Army officer.
