Akshay Kumar to Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor: Bollywood stars who are all set to dominate 2021

After a phenomenal 2019, Bollywood stars are all geared up with their respective films to entertain the audience but it looks like the race has now entered 2021 as well. With Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone announcing their films which are all set to release next year, fans are in for a sure treat.

From masala entertainers like Varun Dhawan's 'Mr Lele' to a remake of Hollywood's film 'The Intern' which starred Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, cinemagoers will be witnessing a variety of films in the coming year. Check out the list of films which are all set to release in 2021 here:

Akshay Kumar, who dominated 2019 with films like 'Kesari', 'Mission Mangal', 'Housefull 4' and 'Good Newwz' went on to create several box office records. Now with ample of films lined up to release this year, the Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood has also announced his films which would be releasing in 2021. 'Bachchan Pandey' which was scheduled to release on Christmas this year has been postponed to 22nd January 2021 to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan's film at the box office. Apart from 'Bachchan Pandey', Akshay also has 'Bell Bottom' which will be releasing next year on 2nd April.

With Salman Khan currently shooting for his upcoming Eid release 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai', he took to twitter in the second week of January to book 2021's Eid as well. Titled as 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' the film which is written and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala will be helmed by 'Housefull 4' director Farhad Samji. Salman's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' will be releasing on 13th May 2021.

Varun Dhawan might be basking in the success of his recent release 'Street Dancer 3D' but the talented actor is also gearing up for his next projects at the moment. Earlier this month, Varun had taken to social media to share the first poster of 'Mr Lele' which featured him in white shorts which grabbed everyone's attention. The film will be bringing back the successful actor-director duo of Varun and Shashank Khaitan for the third time. The film is slated to release on 1st January 2021.

Earlier this week, Deepika Padukone shocked her fans by announcing her next project. Taking to Twitter she shared the titled of her next film 'The Intern' which is an Indian adaptation of Hollywood flick with the same name. While the original one featured Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in lead roles, DP will be collaborating with Rishi Kapoor for the Indian version. While the exact date of the film isn't announced yet, Deepika's tweet mentioned that the film will be releasing in 2021.

Ace filmmaker Luv Ranjan is all set to bring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor together for the first time on the silver screen in his upcoming film. The untitled film which is slated to release on 26th March 2021 was reported to bring the 'Rajneeti' pair of RK and Ajay Devgn once again but rumours state that the latter had opted out of the project. Deepika Padukone was also reported to have been approached for the flick but no confirmation regarding the same has been issued by the makers.

Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari's 2013 film 'Go Goa Gone' is all set to get a sequel which is aimed to release in 2021. Titled as 'Go Goa Gone 2' the makers took to social media to announce the sequel and even revealed that the film will be releasing in March next year. Fans even took to social media to express their delight on the return of one of their favourite horror-comedy as well.
