Atul Agnihotri gets teary-eyed watching daughter Alizeh Agnihotri's debut film Farrey at IFFI 2023 gala premiere

It was a day to get emotional at IFFI 2023. Actor-producer Atul Agnihotri, father of debutante Alizeh Agnihotri, burst into tears after watching his daughter's film Farrey at the gala premiere held at the 54th the International Feature Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

An emotional Salman Khan, who watched the film from the wings of the theatre, walked on to the stage and asked the audience about their reaction. He was quite happy to see the film getting a standing ovation and the audience showering praises for his niece.

A nervous and proud mother Alvira Khan Agnihotri was quietly watching the audience and getting feedback from them.



Earlier in the day, Salman Khan, who has been going all out to promote the film, had a piece of advice to the youngsters who are being launched in the film. He asked them not to get affected by the critics review or stars attached to the review and just feel like a star.


Alizeh makes her debut in the Soumendra Padhi-directed film. At the event, the actor also posed with the Farrey cast including, Prasanna Bisht, Sahil Mehta, and Zeyn Shaw.

The trailer showcased the journey of Niyati (Alizeh) from a small town to entering a high school. Her parents encourage her to pursue her goal of getting into IIT. As she deals with test stress and school politics, she becomes involved in a cheating ring. Farrey is a word used by students for small chits of paper-bearing answers, that they sneak into exam halls. The film is all set to hit the theatres on November 24.
