The film revealed Dhoni’s early days in Ranchi, showing his struggles, personal losses, and his ultimate rise as India’s most successful cricketer. The emotional connection made the movie one of Bollywood’s most loved sports biopics.

'Sanju'

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Sanju' offered an eye-popping look into the chaotic life of actor Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir Kapoor’s adaptation as the actor allowed viewers to travel along with him through fame, drug addiction, legal troubles, and redemption. The film became one of the highest-grossing biopics of all time, and opened up consideration about the fragility of celebrity.
