‘Chhichhore’ actor Shishir Sharma says he still can't believe Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide, 'Bhot hi suljha hua aadmi'

Shishir Sharma says Sushant was not the kind of person who would take such a step

In a recent sit-down interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shishir opened up about the heartbreaking loss of his ‘Chhichhore’ co-star Sushant. When asked whether he believed Sushant had died by suicide, Shishir was candid in his response, saying that Sushant was simply not the kind of person who would make such a choice. "I don't think he was a man who would take a step like that," he said, also describing him as a "bhot hi suljha hua aadmi." Shishir further shared that he learned of Sushant's passing on June 14, 2020, around 4 pm, a moment that clearly left a deep impact on him.


He added, “I could not hold back my tears. It was difficult." Sharma further shared that the news came as a complete shock to him, leaving him struggling to come to terms with the loss. He recalled being unable to comprehend how such a talented and promising actor could have passed away so suddenly. He further said, “Kuch to karan hoga, aisa koi khudkhushi thodi kar leta hai…Ab kisse baat karein? Kya…I just left it and said it’s rather sad, rather unfortunate than a man that something like this happens to a man who has taken acting profession seriously."
