Udaybir Sandhu, who played the role of Pinda in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', recently talked about the overwhelming love he has been receiving after the release of the movie. He also opened up about his dialogue, 'Ghar ki yaad nahi tujhe Jassi' going viral on social media. Let's take a look at what he has to say about the scene before the interval.
Udaybir Sandhu reveals
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Udaybir Sandhu shared that the film team knew that the scene was "important." He added, "But we didn’t expect this kind of reaction. I’m still processing it. The fact that audiences picked up that particular line is very exciting."
The actor had a very short screen time, and yet he managed to receive massive praise from the audience. He said, "I had not anticipated the kind of response the character received initially. Like any other actor, I was concerned about my screen time, seeing that I didn’t have a lot of scenes."
Udaybir went on to reveal that director Aditya Dhar had told him that, despite less screen presence, his character would leave an impact on the audience.
Udaybir Sandhu on working with Ranveer Singh
In the same interview, Udaybir Sandhu called Ranveer Singh one of the most talented actors he has seen. He revealed the 'Dil Dhadakne Do' actor guided him in every scene. Sandhu added, "After it was done, he (Ranveer) told me, 'Bhai, tere mein energy bahot hai (brother, you have a lot of energy),' a compliment like that, coming from him, was in itself a huge win."
