Dhurandhar 2 ReviewVivek Sinha’s clarification video
Vivek Sinha addressed the buzz directly in his Instagram video. He said, “Bhai, itna paisa nahi mila hai kasamse. Yeh sab mat dalo.” (“Bro, I swear I didn’t get paid that much. Don’t put all this out.”) He thanked fans for their love but requested that they not spread unverified numbers about his payment.
Vivek explained that exaggerated reports have led to unwanted messages. He said people are now asking him for financial help because of the high fee claims.
He added, “Mujhe Dhurandhar se paisa mila hai, achcha paisa mila. Jo expected the amount that woh mila. Lekin utna paisa nahi mila, aur joh paisa mila tha khatam ho chuka hai. Mumbai mein rehta hoon bhai, aur bahot kharche hai Mumbai mein. Toh 'Dhurandhar' wala saara paisa khatam ho chuka hai.” (“I did get paid for 'Dhurandhar', and it was a good amount around what I expected. But it wasn’t that much, and whatever I earned is already gone. I live in Mumbai, bro, and expenses are really high here. So all the money I got from Dhurandhar has been spent.”)

'Dhurandhar' role and backlash
Vivek played Zahoor Mistry, one of the hijackers in the film’s recreation of the 1999 IC-814 hijacking. His dialogue “Hindu waqai darpok qaum hai” drew strong backlash from some sections. He later clarified his identity, writing, “Mera naam Vivek Sinha hai aur main aatankwadi nahi hoon.” (“My name is Vivek Sinha, and I am not a terrorist.”)
