Danish Pandor, who catapulted to fame with his gritty portrayal of the Lyari gangster Uzair Baloch in
Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’, recently showcased a much softer, more philosophical side. In a candid conversation with Humans of Bombay, the breakout star opened up about the evolving dynamics of modern relationships, describing marriage as a "beautiful institution" that often serves more as a "social stamp" than a necessity for the couple involved.
Dhurandhar 2 ReviewDanish Pandor opens up on marriage and emotional compatibility
During the interaction, the actor said it’s a beautiful institution, and one should get married at the right time without hurting anyone’s sentiments. For him, marriage is more like an official stamp for society, not for two people. “It’s a beautiful institution. One should get married. But at the right time and not hurting anyone’s sentiments. For me, marriage is more like an official stamp for society. Not for two people," Pandor stated.
Pandor continued, “When you are emotionally compatible with that person, eventually you will have to take your story forward with the person and not with society. If that person is happy with you, and you are happy with that person, life works quite smoothly.”
Pandor views marriage as a beautiful institution but doesn't see it as a top priority right now. “You should always have that one person standing beside you, to hold on to you and give you a lot of motivation and take you forward,” he added.
