In one of her initial controversial remarks, Kangana Ranaut had expressed that she felt unsafe after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise in Mumbai and had compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir. “Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai, after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?” Kangana had Tweeted.

Kangana Ranaut had posted pictures of her Bandra office on Twitter, after the demolition drive carried out by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. She had captioned the clicks, “This is the rape of my dreams, my spirits, my self-esteem and my future.” The BMC had razed Kangana’s office after sending her a notice for ‘illegal construction’. In another post, Kangana had also commented that her work place had been turned into a graveyard.

Kangana Ranaut had said in an interview with a channel that nearly 99 per cent of Bollywood consumes drugs. The actress had made this controversial statement in connection to the ongoing controversy about the drugs probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Raveena Tandon had slammed her in response, “This statement cannot be a generic description for all. Few bad apples cannot spoil a basket. Likewise, our industry also has the good and the bad.”

Kangana Ranaut had tagged Urmila Matondkar as a ‘soft porn star’, after the latter had reportedly taken a dig at Kangana’s Y-plus security and questioned why she didn't give information about the drug nexus to the police. Hitting out Urmila Matondkar, Kangana had told Times Now in an interview, “Even Urmila, she is a soft porn star. I know it’s very blatant. But she isn’t known for her acting for sure. What is she known for? For doing soft porn right? If she can get a ticket, why won’t I get a ticket.”
